I said that I would write you a song
You said you would finish at two
When I called you had gone but I still wrote the song
this one was written for you ...
There's a world where thoughts and dreams coexist
Where the sky stays a strange magic hue
Where life can be simple and death close behind
Where music can call to the few
I traveled in search of a will of the wisp
A memory hidden but true
I traveled in vain, for she'd flourished and gone
And then in the shade there was you..
I said that I would write you a song
You said you would finish at two
When I called you had gone but I still wrote the song
this one was written for you ...
I sang out my songs in the heat of the crowd
And I watched you as you glided by
The light of the candles brought shadows and shades
And a sparkle to a bright blue grey eye
I saw tables brighten as you gave them a smile
And I hoped you would not pass me by
I played out my heart on the fret-board of life
Though I feared - to catch your eye
I said that I would write you a song
You said you would finish at two
When I called you had gone but I still wrote the song
this one was written for you ...
The warmth of the evening, the heat of the sand,
The smell of smoke burning, the touch of a hand,
The taste of sweet lips, that sears like a brand
A whisper of hope, I could not understand
For I was estranged in a stranger land
With a prospect of love I could never have planned
I said that I would write you a song
You said you would finish at two
When I called you had gone but I still wrote the song
this one was written for you ...
I watched from a distance as you passed to and fro
As night-time replaced eventide
No necklace or garlands upon silky skin
Your red hair pulled backwards with pride..
Your voice it was gentle, your smile was beguiling
If I say I was untouched I lied
I thought that you had not even seen me at all
then you came and sat by my side ...
And I said that I would write you a song
You said you would finish at two
When I called you had gone but I still wrote the song
this one was written for you ...

Dance for me - and I will play for you
Rest with me - and I will sing to you
Stay with me - if you are wanting to
Whatever else - just dance for me ...
Dance for me - I will be watching you
Young and free - I will be wanting you
Stay with me - till the night is through
Whatever else- just dance for me....
Dance for me - move your body slow
Close to me - steal a heart and soul
Stay with me - till you have to go
whatever else - dance for me
Dance for me - I'll burn the candles low
Move for me - in that warmest glow
Come to me - move your body slow
Whatever else - dance for me

Call of the Viinshar
04:11
|
|||
ET ANGELAN MITRASPERAET US KIRRSAN YAN LETHE
(The Angels of Mythodea are a Curse upon the Land)
Heard the call of the Viinshar – lost her to the Void
Listen to my story of how I lost my love
They said that she was walking, They said that she was fine
They say that I won’t see her for a long long time
For she has gone from Mythodea
ET ANGELAN MITRASPERAET US KIRRSAN YAN LETHE
She’s gone from Mythodea
Heard the cry of the Viinshar – lost her to the Void
She was a child of Aeris a Messenger of the sky
I never told her of my love , I was too shy
But then I plucked up courage , I would tell no lie
For she has gone from Mythodea
ET ANGELAN MITRASPERAET US KIRRSAN YAN LETHE
She’s gone from Mythodea
Heard the cry of the Viinshar – lost her to the Void
I hate the ones who took her, who stole away my heart
I curse all the forsaken, and all their evil arts
Now I lift my sword up, now my battle starts
Until they’re gone from Mythodea
ET ANGELAN MITRASPERAET US KIRRSAN YAN LETHE
Gone from Mythodea
Heard the cry of the Viinshar – lost her to the Void

Before I got to fighting, or when fighting got to me
I looked to find examples on the field of chivalry
And I saw mighty arms much stronger than my arms could ever be
So I thought perhaps that field was not for me
But I stayed to watch the fighting 'til one figure stood apart
In armour newly fashioned and a helm more pot than art
But each blow was thrown with honour and a lightness of the heart
So I took that step which soon became a start
Cause she was not the biggest fighter, nor one to raise a fuss
But I remember being proud that she was one of us
And we might never stand together in a shield-wall side by side
Because of her, I lift my sword with pride
She was ladylike and lively, not the type you would expect
With a braver heart than many and a slot-shot to respect
And I guess she'd once decided this was where she'd like to be
And I thought, if she could do it, why not me?
Cause she was not the biggest fighter, nor one to raise a fuss
But I remember being proud that she was one of us
And we might never stand together in a shield-wall side by side
Because of her, I lift my sword with pride
So now as I gather armour, bits and pieces here and there
I think about examples, how you act and what you dare
'Cause you never know who's watching, or how far that story goes
Where'er that lady is, I hope she knows
Cause she was not the biggest fighter, nor one to raise a fuss
But I remember being proud that she was one of us
And we might never stand together in a shield-wall side by side
Because of her, I lift my sword with pride
No, we might never stand together in a shield-wall side by side
Because of her, I lift my sword with pride

Harma's Song - Tapestry
03:30
|
|||
She stood in the finest weave of the tapestry
Sewing those dreams that only blind poets see
Lost in the dust of last winter’s forestry
Tempting, teasing, tortuous destinies...
The Stitches of time were unraveling slowly
The weft of her tears told a sorrowful story
She hung from the loom with silent anxiety
"Fatal" she said .. tastes of Strawberry...
"Revenge" she whispered always tastes Bitter Sweet
Clean is the freshness of a realised destiny
Lips are cold - hearts won't beat
Fatal tastes of Strawberry
There 'twixt the branches of leafy divinity
Long golden tresses give hope for futurity
Woven through time with truth and duplicity
Drifting like wood smoke into sweet obscurity
Red was her bosom and armoured with dignity,
Bright were her eyes with hidden expectancy
Sad was her smile, with a lack of security
Within my heart - I heard her call out to me ... Chor
Deep was my hunger as she reached out for me
Wide were my arms to grasp a pure destiny
High my ambitions too high now it seems to me
as further she drifted, drifted away from me
Hidden in the finest weave of the tapestry
Lost in my dreams that only blind poets see
A soft echo drifted from last winter's forestry
"Fatal" it whispered .. "tastes of Strawberry...“
"Regret" I now know will always taste Bitter Sweet
I’ll never savour a realised destiny
Lips are cold - hearts won't beat
Fatal tastes of Strawberry

When its winter in Wales there’s a chill in the air
I recall the glint of the sun in her hair
She had a knowing smile and eyes that beguile
On the steps of the Jolly Rouge..
On the steps, on the steps, on the steps of the Jolly Rouge
A knowing smile and eyes that beguile
On the steps of the Jolly Rouge.
The sand it was burning the souls of my feet
But my heart it was burning to a different heat
She gave me a glance, as I asked her to dance
In the shade of the Jolly Rouge
In the shade, In the shade, In the shade of the Jolly Rouge
She gave me a glance, as I asked her to dance
In the shade of the Jolly Rouge
So when its winter in Wales with a chill in the air
Out in Mythodea - my heart it is there
There are lanterns of paper, and candles and tapers
My heart’s in the Jolly Rouge
My heart,my heart, my heart's in the Jolly Rouge
By lanterns of paper, and candles and tapers
My heart’s in the Jolly Rouge
I sang her a song and she smiled once again
My heart just wanted to take all her pain
It can’t be for me, but she’ll always will be
Mona Mour of the Jolly Rouge
Mona Mour, Mona Mour, Mona Mour of the Jolly Rouge
Too young for me , but she’ll always will be
Mon amour of the Jolly Rouge

Counting them out - Counting them in
You know where they are - you know where they've been
But it's a shame - really a sin
If you don't count them out - you can't count them in
Before the battle - as you step on the field
Your blood it is racing - no quarter no yield
Surrounded by comrades - each axe, sword or shield
You know some will fall - they'll die if not healed..
So I'm counting them out....
Out in the darkness, you know you must go
You may take it careful - you may take it slow
You may charge in fearless, the red mist aglow
You may tread in silence - with nary a blow...
But I'm counting..
She stood at the window
There were Shadows within
The flicker of firelight
Tattooing her skin
So Still and so Silent
Her gaze far away
If I close my eyes tightly
I can see her today...
Love is a battle - you know you must go
You may take it careful - you may take it slow
You may charge in fearless, the red mist a-glow
You may tread in silence - with nary a blow...
She sat at the table
Her head in her hands
Her gaze it was distant
Far places far lands
But her smile it was gentle
She saw through it all
A band of bright scarlet
O'er her eyes pierced my soul
But I'm counting..
She walked like a dancer
She stood like a Queen
With Fur at her shoulders
So lithe and so lean
Stark Elven features
A haughty disdain
Brings me back to the Crabbe
Again and again..

I'll tell you how I lost my voice at the Black Pearl Mythodea!!
There's a tavern in the town - bane to the Bards - it gets them down
There the crowds all drink and shout - It's the Black Pearl Mythodea!
Bards all try to sing it right, a ballad while the punters fight
They strive to get their voices heard, but they don't get a chance sir!!
But I've a plan, a sneaky one, A plan that's quite supreme sir
A Bardic plan with Bardic fun, when things are quite quite extreme sir
If they won't listen and they don't want to hear..
So I wrote them a chorus about Beer!!
I'll tell you how I lost my voice (1,2,3,4) At the Black Pearl Mythodea!!
What do you want - I'll Have a beer!! - I'll have a beer with you sir .....
And that was how I lost my Voice at the Black Pearl Mythodea!!
There's a gambler in the bar, he's fine with cards - and quite a star
With skill he'll play all night and day - in the Black Pearl Mythodea!
I took a table - took some cards, thought it couldn't be that hard
I played the gambler at his game. I didn't stand a chance sir!!
I saw him shuffle, deal his cards, he went through his paces
I got a mighty hand of Kings - He had all the Aces!!
He took my shirt from me have no fear
But he couldn't take my chorus about the beer
I lost my Shirt when I lost my voice - At the Black Pearl Mythodea!!
There's a wench who serves me beer, cool and chilled, but have no fear
When she smiles I'd walk for miles to the Black Pearl Mythodea!!
Then my heart began to stir- she said her name was Sinistair!
Long blonde hair and darkened eyes - I didn't stand a chance sir !!!
When I asked to taste her wares she didn't tell me no sir
She didn't tell me yes sir, she said she was too young sir!!
Said she knew about old Bards like me
So I gave her a song and drank my beer..
I lost my heart when I lost my voice - At the Black Pearl Mythodea!!
So there's a tavern in the town - and there we drink - we put them down
There the crowds all drink all night - at the Black Pearl Mythodea!
Bards all try to sing it right, a ballad while the punters fight
Strive to get our voices heard, but we don't have a chance sir!!
But While I've copper in my pouch I'll buy just one more beer sir
I'll sing my songs to those by me - cos they're the only ones can hear sir
No !! I don't care if the rest don't want to hear..
I'll spend another copper .. drink my Beer
Cos I lost my Wallet when I lost my voice - At the Black Pearl Mythodea!!
I Lost my Wallet, Shirt, Heart and Voice... In the Black Pearl Mythodea
