A quick tongue twister from the Bard.
The ladies of the harem of the court of King Caractacus. A favourite with the younger visitors to the Tavern, though parents will normally join in the "just passing by" bit.

Caratacus was a leader of assorted tribes who resisted the Roman invasion of Britain in AD43. Having lost a battle or two, Caratacus withdrew into Wales, which no conqueror ever bothered with for understandable reasons. Once there, Caratacas presumably dallied with the ladies of the harem of his court - or not !!!
